Welsh singer and multi-instrumentalist Greg Ryan writes songs for people who still believe that music might actually maybe make things better.

With multiple BBC radio plays, a recent 4 weeks on the BBC’s Welsh A-List and over 20 million video views on Tiktok, Greg has a catalogue of soulful, piano-driven songs that make for an intimate and uplifting live experience.

Greg moves effortlessly between upbeat Americana, melodic folk and pensive, ethereal solo piano interludes. Song subjects include the absurdity of modern life, the beauty of the welsh mountains and the life and works of under-appreciated female paleontologists.

Greg has been highlighted as artist of the week by BBC introducing, topped the international independent charts with two original songs and won a Download Music Award for best acoustic act. 

Greg plays regularly in venues around South Wales as well as venues further afield including recent slots at Brixton Jamm, Dublin Castle and the Grammy Museum in Los Angeles. 

Greg has also composed for film and tv projects, lead creative education projects as digital artist in residence at Tate, made a language inventor with Shakespeare’s Globe and remixed the London Symphony Orchestra’s string section with the help of 300 children.
